Youth Group

The youth at Oakhurst Baptist Church are a strongly bonded group of young people who love praising God. With the leadership of our Youth/Children Director, they take on new challenges with open minds, and strive for progression of our church. They participate in an annual summer mission trip to a part of the country to work on various projects for whatever is needed, usually in poverty-stricken areas. To raise money for this important mission, they plan and sponsor activities such as bar-b-que dinners, valentine banquets, car washes, and fall festivals.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our young people to grow spiritually as they spread the Word to others in need of uplifting.

As the next generation and future of OBC, they have started picking up new instruments and forming a praise band. They have a lot to offer as they move forward with new ideas to grow into a church that has a mission to win non-believers to Christ and be a passion “on fire for God”.
